For auction is my complete Davis Vantage Pro2 wireless weather station, originally purchased in the late 2000s.

I have decided to replace the system rather than spend more time and money repairing it, so everything pictured is being sold together as one complete job lot.

Please understand - this listing is being sold strictly as faulty, for spares or repair, and the Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS) is not fully working.

History

The original weather station was purchased new by me in the late 2000s. I was using the live data for software programming.

In 2018, after the original anemometer failed, I replaced the ISS with a newer upgraded ISS featuring the improved brass-tipped wind vane and rain gauge funnel (with trash guard and bird spikes).

In early 2026, the external temperature / humidity readings became temperamental. I tried two replacement sensors, but the problem has persisted.

From my own diagnosis, the wind and rain sensors are correctly getting 2.85 volts. But the external temperature and humidity sensor isn't getting any power. Hence the console shows these two readings as dashes, and wind chill cannot be calculated.

I am in the process of moving house and don't have the time to fully diagnose or fix the issue. The weather station has been in storage for a few months, and at this point I just want it gone!

Condition

The indoor console, mains power supply, rain gauge, anemometer, wind vane and USB WeatherLink data logger appear to be working. I tested them today for this eBay listing.

I have successfully connected the console and logger to the ISS on station channel ID 5, where they received and logged data correctly - with the exception of external temperature and humidity.

I was also able to get the console to reliably connect on station channel ID 1 to another nearby Davis VP2 weather station, and the full dataset for that ISS was displayed. Please see the video and pictures of the latter.

The ISS included in this sale is definitely faulty and no longer transmits external temperature or humidity data to the console. Again I think it's because the sensor isn't getting power, but I'm not absolutely certain. I have tried many things and ordered two new temperature sensors, both with the same result.
