​For America's 250th birthday, the U.S. Mint finally gave the half dollar its first design change in over half a century. This is a strict one-year-only strike before the traditional Kennedy design returns in 2027. 

​What you’re getting:

​Condition: Brilliant Uncirculated (BU). Pulled straight from fresh Mint rolls and handled exclusively with cotton gloves to preserve their mint state. 

​Obverse (Heads): A forward-looking close-up of the Statue of Liberty, stamped with the historic dual date 1776 ~ 2026. 

​Reverse (Tails): A hand passing a trailing torch to the next generation, inscribed with the phrase "Knowledge is the only guardian of true liberty." 

​Mint Marks: Available in either Philadelphia (P) or Denver (D) strikes — just select your preference from the drop-down menu. 

​Composition: Standard modern copper-nickel clad (these are not silver).
