One of Mauer's toughest non 1 of 1's of the era. The 2003 Topps 205 set featured super short print backs, unceremoniously mixed in. This unsuspecting specimen has a print run of just 5 made! A wonderful Mauer second year card that has never publicly sold before. Ever! This one was graded by PSA as an 8.5 and is the only one graded. With this set I would not be surprised to see many of the Red Bazookas limited to 4-5 of each made, and the 1/1 Blue Bazookas have been overlooked by novice collectors and lost to time. They are ghosts in the hobby. I sold a PSA 7 of a common Blue 4 years ago for over $500 - what is this Second Year Mauer Red worth? Incidentally it would pair wonderfully with the 2002 Topps 206 Bazooka Back SSP Mauer PSA 9 that I have listed as well :)  Yes, that was a shameless sales plug. Thanks for looking.
