Here is a rare pair, a BLACK NIKON FE BODY, ALL MANUAL SHUTTER SPEEDS AND APERTURE PRIORITY AUTO WORKING CORRECTLY and a NIKON EM WHICH IS ALSO WORKING CORRECTLY. Both are NIKON FACTORY (JAPAN ONLY)  'FX' ENGRAVED with extra initials. Nothing at all to do with movie Special FX, it is thought these cameras were perhaps supplied to Nikon store managers or loyal Nikon employees in Japan.

The viewfinders are clear apart from some tiny dust particles which of course don't show in photos. The light meter needles are both fast reacting and seem to be accurate. Shutter speeds in the FE are from eight seconds up to 1/1000 and the EM from 1 second up to 1/1000. The battery check lights both work well. The shutter curtains are excellent. There is some very minor paint wear on the FE but generally both are very tidy. Two very nice special cameras for use or display by Nikon Collectors!
