Sevres Louis Phillipe Service Des Bals Cake Stand Circa 1847
Antique French porcelain cake stand. Decorated with the fancy gold gilt monogram for King Louis Philippe on either side. With gold gilding along the edge. This was part of the Service des Bals ordered for use at the royal estates. Marked on the bottom with the correct incised marks and also marked in blue Sevres with a date code for 1847.
Has wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 8 5/8 inches x 2 3/8 inches tall.
