I am at a bit of a loss about these bottles as they are not mine and I am selling for the widow of a friend.

2 x Apothecary or Chemists Bottles in a Cobalt Blue. See photo with light through window for the exact colour.

To me they are in perfect condition and come complete with what I assume are evaporation tops which cover the tops of the bottles.

Ground glass pouring stoppers, one has a hairline crack. See photos.

Labels are GLYCER: AMYLI: & GLYCER: BORASIS:

Labels are gold rim, red inner rim, white background and black writing. Again no wear to these.

There is a gold crest at the bottom of the front of each bottle printed directly onto the glass.

I had assumed when I first saw these that they were modern reproductions but the evaporation tops seem to be a much older glass. Perhaps they have just been looked after very well. I am now told that these are 1980's reproductions.

They stand appx 8.5 " tall and a little higher if you put the evaporation tops on them.

They are 2.75" in diameter.
