This RARE, Authentic, and All-Original Men's Platinum, Diamond, and Star Sapphire ring from the Roaring '20's is a stunner!  The center stone is a LARGE oval Star Sapphire approximately 15+ carats, measuring approx. 16mm x 14mm, and bezil set.  It is set in Platinum, marked 900 PLAT 100 IRID, meaning 90% Platinum 10% Iridium.  Iridium is currently $8,000 per ouce.  The total weight of the ring is 21.7 grams (over 2/3 of an ounce).  The inside diameter is 18.5mm , making it approximately size 8.5.

It is flanked on each side by "diamond-cut" shaped diamonds weighing approximately 1 carat each.  (Diamonds have not been dismounted and weighed, actual weight could be ¾ - 1¼ct each).  Diamond-cut shaped diamonds are similar to Trillion cuts, but more in the shape a long Superman logo.  The longest sides are approx 7mm, and the shortest side approx. 5.5mm.
