A wonderful vintage Irish Shillelagh stick with delightful twists of the Blackthorn on full display.This old stick is an authentic iconic Shillelagh in its purest unfinished form. From the knot that forms the top of the twisting form to the twists spiraling toward the bottom this is the natural primitive Irish Shillelagh that has been synonomous with Irish history.
There are old design carvings on the bark .
This is a primitive piece and it does have some condition issues on the bottom of the stick where the bark has become loose in a few places and would benefit from some attention of securing it .
The Height of the stick is 37 1/2inches .
