An antique carved vegetable ivory pedestal pin cushion and sewing thread holder. The foot and ‘cup’ holding the pin cushion are carved and pierced. The pin cushion is covered with olive green velvet. It can be untwisted so that a small spool of thread can be placed onto the pedestal.
It stands 7cm tall x 2cm diameter.
The velvet has some wear (in keeping with age and use).
