Fully hallmarked Birmingham 1906 sterling lion stamped with the iconic 'B' date letter and 'BPDC' maker marks.

Featuring a naturally iridescent shell bowl elevated on a sterling silver pedestal base with its original factory-weighted/loaded foot for stability, its non-reactive nacre made it a versatile Edwardian luxury—equally suited as a vanity ring dish, open salt cellar, bonbon tray, or caviar server.

Measuring 87mm x 54mm and standing 45mm tall, this piece weighs a substantial 65.18g (total weight including weighted base).

Condition Note: In fantastic, original antique condition with crisp, fully legible hallmarks and brilliant shell lustre. As shown in photos, the base features its original weighted filler. Please note there is a small gap beneath the silver centre mount, creating a slight, natural movement between the shell and the silver base. It remains structurally secure, completely original, and ready for display.
