This car now Qualifies for Free Road tax and MOT Exemption and is also ULEZ Compliant.

The car is in need of restoration with the normal E24 Rust, the main area’s are the bottom of the wings , Drivers floor pan and the piece of chassis rail under it , Passenger floor pan , Outer sill’s, and small area’s on the rear wheel arches and here and there but not major , The interior is excellent, however, there is some small damage to the front seats which would be repairable. And the headlining needs replacing ( good secondhand one supplied )

Panel’s are available from the likes of Valcas Garage at very reasonable prices  ( typically 100 – 150 Euro’s per panel)

The vary common problem of the gauge cluster not working  has been restored  using brand new SI board etc  ( please see Pic’s)

There is a cut roof panel that comes with the car and a sunroof panel ( that needs work ) with all the sunroof mechanism ( please see pic)

The car is complete  and very original with no evidence of previous welding , It starts on the Key and runs well with a very healthy smooth Sounding engine showing 123000 miles, The car starts moves and stops ( using hand brake ), The gearbox feels good and engages all gears and reverse smoothly .

The engine oil has been changed but the rest of the fluids will need changing  also the Brake Calipers will need rebuilding

I am running the car through a Petrol can in the boot to be safe as the fuel tank and lines will need checking , however I have an inspection camera ( I can show the buyer ) and the fuel tank look’s very cleanable once removed.

This is a straight forward restoration for anyone handy with a welder as the bones of the car are good , and it’s running and driving .

This is a great opportunity to buy an Extremely Rare Factory Manual with LSD 635CSI,
