From an adult collector.

This set has been built a maximum of 2 times, never displayed for more than a couple of days and then stored away (that is why some of the photos are old – they were taken when it was originally constructed).  No sun damage.

100% complete with all minifigs, instructions and box.

I have owned this from new – buying it on the day of release.

I have been through the set and made sure all bits are there as per instructions.

Spares also included if they were there initially.

EXCELLENT CONDITION.  No rips or tears to instructions.

Boxes have been opened as carefully as the glue allows and some of them have signs of ‘shelf wear’.  They have all been stored flattened.

Where applicable, the little white box in the set that holds capes, ropes and other sundry items etc has never been opened.

Sets will be sent dismantled and smaller sets will have the box flattened which should make postage cheaper.

PLEASE NOTE

At the time of the LOTR sets being released, LEGO suffered from ‘Brittle Brown’ pieces.  This is nothing to do with storage or use, but a problem that affected only brown pieces, making them brittle and easy to break (look it up, Google it – it’s a real thing – something to do with the colouring they used to make them brown!)

There are NO BROKEN pieces in this set at the time of selling, however I CANNOT be held responsible if any parts break during construction or when it gets dismantled again by the buyer.
