This item contains three (3) mint hinged postage stamps, that were issued for use in the French Colony of Martinoque in 19e5.  The sheet was issued to commemorate.   Victor Schœlcher (1804–1893) was a French abolitionist, journalist, and politician. He is best known for leading the fight that successfully abolished slavery in all French colonies in 1848.   Ideal to help a collector build up their collection for that country.   Please check scans closely before bidding as the stamps are unchecked by me and may not be 100% perfect.
