Frequently Asked Question
How to Use a Knee Exercise CPM Machine?
Set It Up: Place the machine on a flat surface, like a bed. Adjust the machine to match your leg's length and position. Ensure your knee aligns with the machine’s hinge point for proper movement.
Get Comfortable: Sit or lie down and place your leg in the machine. Use the straps to secure it.
Adjust Settings: Use the control panel to set the bending (flexion) and straightening (extension) angles as recommended by your doctor.
Start: Turn it on, and the machine will gently move your knee for you.
Use It Regularly: Follow your doctor’s advice on how long to use it each day. Start slow and increase as directed.
After Use: Turn it off, unfasten your leg, and gently remove it.
My CPM machine makes some noise while running. Is it defective?
A slight noise is completely normal for all CPM machines. This sound comes from the motor and moving parts working together to gently move your knee. It does not mean the machine is defective.
However, if the noise is unusually loud or the machine is not operating correctly, ensure:
The machine is placed on a stable, flat surface.
It is clean and free of dust or debris in moving parts.
It is used according to the instructions provided.
I found grease under the legrest. Is that normal?
Yes, it’s normal! The grease is applied to the machine to keep its moving parts running smoothly and quietly. It helps the machine provide consistent, gentle motion for your knee.
If you notice excess grease, you can wipe it off gently, but rest assured, it’s there to ensure the machine works properly.
The CPM machine doesn't work with my US plug. What's the problem?
Different countries have different power supply standards, such as voltage and plug types. If you're facing this issue, let us know the voltage requirement for your country before completing your purchase. We will provide you with the correct power converter to ensure the machine works perfectly with your local power supply.
Can the CPM machine be used for both knees?
Yes, the machine is adjustable and can be used for both your left and right knee. However, it is designed to work on only one leg at a time. If you need to switch legs, you can easily adjust the machine to fit the other leg following the instructions. For more details, refer to the user manual or contact us for support.
