Rare lot of Mainly photos (69) and some documents belonging to former works engineers from the Filton Works Bristol , mainly late 1950s although one document is 1947

There are also two printed cards with printed signatures of the flight crew of the Bristol Brabazon aeroplane.

The archive is exactly as I found it and nothing has been removed .

I think some of the photos relate to the Bristol Brabazon some orhers are images relating to the aircraft freighter G-AJHF and WT933 helicopter.


A rare archive

These were owned by someone who worked as a Filton Works Engineer.

Condition as seen one photo has written names on and has a crease otherwise good

Many photos have Bristol The Bristol Aeroplane Co , Filton House , Bristol England hand stamp on

Some photos have static test planes and damage shown on metal , one document dated 1953 to an explosion/fire Durestos A/c fire cam dope shop . Sunday 19th April 1953

The photos need a good sort

Only a few documents letters or memo one is social skittles related

I did debate splitting up but I think best kept as an archive have shown one specialist and have been told this is a scarce lor and probably belongs in a museum and quite valuable historically

An interesting lot to research
