Vintage French estate ROPP Deluxe cherrywood pipe. The underside of the bowl is stamped ROPP [over] De Luxe [over] France. Underneath that is the shape number 909.  ROPP is possibly best known for their cherrywood pipes.  The bowl and shank have bark on the outside. The bowl has peeled striped around the octagon on every other flat side. The rim top and the base of the bowl are both smooth without bark. The stem has ROPP logo.  The stem is a little loose and has some marks at the lip.
