USGI Army M65 Quilted Field Trouser Pants Liner (Large) is a genuine U.S. military surplus item engineered to provide optimal lightweight insulation. Often described as a "woobie for your legs," this unissued, brand-new liner is designed to button directly into the interior waist of standard M65 cold-weather field trousers.
Specifications & Features
- Material: 100% ripstop nylon outer shell with 100% quilted polyester batting insulation.
- Sizing (Large): Fits waist sizes from 35 to 39 inches.
- Inseam Length: Up to 32.5 inches. Note that they are intentionally cut short to sit above the boot line, preventing them from getting wet and avoiding bulk when boots are bloused.
- Functionality: Features side openings and button-hole tabs for a secure fit inside field pants. They are cut wide and baggy to be worn over base layers
How to Make Them Work with your civilian pants.
- Wear Under Baggy Pants: They will easily fit under oversized cargo pants, snow pants, or loose-fit sweatpants.
- The Quick Fix: You can wear them standalone under other pants by threading a belt, paracord, or a strap through the existing button-hole tabs at the waist to tie them up.
- The Permanent Fix: Many people sew simple buttons into the inside waistband of their favorite civilian pants to match the liner's button-hole tabs, or sew a basic elastic band directly onto the liner's waist. [1]
