A charming mixed collection of vintage Scout and Girl Guide cloth badges and patches, including a large Buckmore Park camp badge, Kent Invicta patch, Girl Guides badge, Union Jack, Scout fleur-de-lis, panda proficiency badge and several other embroidered patches.
These original badges have clearly been collected and enjoyed over many years, with honest signs of age and use that add to their character. They would make a wonderful addition to a Scout, Guiding or badge collection, or could be used for display, crafting or memory projects.
This collection comes from my late grandmother's lifelong passion for collecting unusual paper ephemera and memorabilia. Although our family business is best known for theatre programmes, football memorabilia and vintage paper collectables, she never could resist bringing home interesting little treasures like these from fairs and antique markets. It's a pleasure to pass them on to someone who will appreciate their history.

Condition:
Good vintage condition overall with age-related wear, loose threads, slight marks and signs of previous stitching/glue on the reverse. The Buckmore Park badge has some edge wear. Sold as a complete mixed lot exactly as photographed.
All items are carefully packaged in protective cellophane with sturdy cardboard backing to ensure they arrive safely. Happy to combine postage on multiple purchases. Happy bidding!

Every piece I sell comes from my late grandmother's remarkable lifetime collection, built over more than 70 years.
She began her career as an air hostess during the 1940s and 1950s, travelling the world and bringing home unusual treasures from every destination. Along the way she fell in love with my grandfather, a Swissair pilot, and together they shared a lifelong passion for collecting history, art, antiques and memorabilia.
In the 1960s she opened her own antiques business, a passion she continued until retiring at the incredible age of 92. She believed every object had a story worth preserving, whether it was a theatre programme, football programme, book, magazine or antique collected during her lifetime.
Today, I'm carefully cataloguing and rehoming her collection, ensuring each piece finds someone who will appreciate it for many years to come.
