A beautifully designed clip on earrings dating to the 1960's created by Les Bernard. Clip on Earrings of textured gold floral with fuax pearls earrings/clips is 2 1/8" in diameter. Marked - Vo. The weight of one earring is 0.7oz. 0.5" thick. Founded by Bernard Shapiro, son of Harold Shapiro of Vogue jewelry, and Lester Joy, thus the name "Les Bernard". Lester Joy was a designer and Bernard Shapiro may have also done some of the designs. Les Bernard manufactured jewelry for Mary McFadden, James Galanos, the Dynasty Collection for the TV show, and Ugo Correani (this pieces could very well be a design for Correani ).
