Japanese Natural Whetstone Shohonyama Ouchi Namito 60' Size 539g from Kyoto

Description

Ouchi stones are quarried in the western part of Kyoto and are classified as “Nishimono.”
This Namito is relatively dense, yet it still produces slurry even without using nagura. While softer Ouchi stones are suitable for creating a kasumi finish, this Namito is comparatively harder, which gives the cutting edge a subtle, refined gloss. Please note that these are not for beginner sharpeners since they're harder to use. These are natural stones meaning that every single one of them are different so my measured size are not accurate. This is a life time investment for people who lives sharpening their knives and tools, do not hesitate to ask me your questions.”
