Very beautiful, red-brown, real leather briefcase. Excellent pre-loved condition. All the saddle stiching is sound. There are some scratches under the handle and around the closing latch as shown. Also some minor wrinkling to the leather latch tab and the front patch pockets. But I only used this fewer than a handful of times before my work changed; it really needs using *more* so that it develops more of the beautiful patina of used, vintage leather.
The reinforced shoulder strap is detachable. On the outside there is a zip pocket on the reverse and the two patch pockets on the front which sit under the closing flap. Internally there are three compartments; one has leather fittings for 2 credit cards and 3 pens. They are lined with a hard-wearing man-made fibre so it is robust enough to carry laptops, chargers etc.
Unfortunately I have mislaid the key but the polished brass latch still closes the compartments perfectly securely.
