RARE FLUORNATROMICROLITE (TL) - 2.7 cm

PARAIBA, BRAZIL

This is a good thumbnail specimen of fluornatromicrolite, a rare sodium dominant member of the microlite family. The specimen features crystal cleavages of the green mineral in pegmatite matrix. The specimen comes from the type locality (TL) for the species, site of first discovery.

From the estate of mineral collector/dealer Charles Trantham, obtained in Tucson in 2000.

This specimen will be shipped mounted in its euro thumbnail (4.0 x 3.5 x 3.0 cm) plastic display box. Apart from enhancing the display, the box helps keep your specimen free of dust and unnecessary cleaning and handling.
