1955 ED1 Mint white label Test Demo of the Concertgebouw under the great Eduard van Beinum in Debussy Images 1, 2 & 3. Pristine unplayed Mint first off the presses demo sample pressing from 71 years ago in an excellent sleeve. There will not be a better or rarer pressing of this anywhere so best possible mono sound on a highly regarded account of these. Yet the story gets better, this is the definition of provenance!. I bought a pile of mainly ten inch lps from a very old lady I met in a charity shop in Worcestershire 20 years ago, who said she had her husbands records back home, would I be interested. I said yes, went back with her, and this was in the pile. She said he was a chemist at Philips. He came up with the vinyl recipe for all the 50s albums I bought off her, she told me. I have kept many for myself, but should still have a good few van Beinums and others, will list more over the next few weeks.
