The CBT 70JE-1-WH is a purpose-built extension module that stacks directly onto the CBT 70J-1 column speaker, adding 70 cm of vertical coverage without requiring separate mounting infrastructure. This extension preserves the column's tight directional control while expanding throw distance and audience coverage, making it ideal for permanent installations, houses of worship, and venues where vertical stack arrays deliver consistent coverage across multiple zones.

Acoustic Performance

Built with four 125 mm (5 in) high-power LF drivers featuring dual magnet neodymium motors and 38 mm (1.5 in) voice coils, the extension delivers 500W power handling at 8 ohms impedance with extended bass response to 45 Hz. The extended pattern control extends to 400 Hz for ±20° control and to 200 Hz for substantial off-axis cancellation, ensuring tight beam control across the audio spectrum.

Build & Environmental Durability

The fiberglass-reinforced ABS enclosure with coated diaphragm materials resists moisture, UV exposure, and salt spray for outdoor or harsh indoor environments. Achieving IP-55 rating when installed with the optional MTC-PC2 panel cover, the extension withstands 200-hour ASTM G85 acid-air/salt-spray testing, making it suitable for marine, coastal, and demanding outdoor venues.

Shipping Information

Shipping cost will be calculated automatically for you by clicking on the shipping tab on top of item description and select your location. If somehow it does not work, please contact us for manual shipping quote.

If the item has a promotional free shipping offer, we will ship the item at no shipping cost to customer in the 48 US Mainland States. The free shipping offer does not apply to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and other US territories.

We usually ship items out the same day or the following day. However in some rare occasion, we may take up to 5 business day to ship out the item. We will always do our best to ship your item out as quickly as possible.


Returns Information

For Customers in US, we will replace defective item within 30 days of purchase. We will not charge shipping cost on the replacement unit going back out to customer.

1) Item is not open yet, it has to be brand new.
2) Return within 14 days (please contact us for RMA first)
3) Customer agree to pay 15% restocking fee.
4) Customer is responsible for the shipping cost to ship the item back to us and the original shipping fee for the transaction (since we already used it to ship the item out).
