For your consideration: estate sale fresh... a Madame Alexander MELANIE or SCARLETT doll from "Gone with the Wind"... one of the old originals, maybe the first. I believe this was manufactured somewhere in between 1946 and 1948. But I make no guarantees as I am no doll expert.
