buff stoneware jug with scenes of Two Card Party & Smoking Party
monkeys. Figural head under the spout. Unmarked. Probably circa 1815 to
1830. The only other examples I can find are either unmarked or marked
with the Chrysanthemum pad mark. Has a chip to the foot rim, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 7 7/8 inches wide from spout to handle x 8 7/8 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
