An original Manchester City v Newcastle United official match programme from 30th August 1975, played at Maine Road during the 1975/76 First Division season.
This sought-after programme features the original team line-ups, including Rodney Marsh, Colin Bell, Dennis Tueart, Alan Oakes and Newcastle stars Malcolm Macdonald, Terry Hibbitt and Alan Kennedy. Inside are contemporary match reports, club features including "The Blues Get the Blues" and "The Other City Team", alongside superb period photography and advertisements that perfectly capture football in the mid-1970s.
This programme comes from my late grandmother's lifelong collection of football programmes and sporting ephemera. She carefully preserved these publications over many decades, and I'm delighted to pass them on to fellow collectors who appreciate the history and nostalgia they represent.

In the 1960s she opened her own antiques business, a passion she continued until retiring at the incredible age of 92. She believed every object had a story worth preserving, whether it was a theatre programme, football programme, book, magazine or antique collected during her lifetime.
Today, I'm carefully cataloguing and rehoming her collection, ensuring each piece finds someone who will appreciate it for many years to come.
