Official Manchester United matchday programme for the Football League Division One fixture against Leicester City, played at Old Trafford on 23 August 1972.
A classic early 1970s programme featuring team line-ups, player profiles, club features, match previews, contemporary advertisements and period photography. It captures Manchester United during their return to the First Division and provides a wonderful snapshot of English football from the era.
Carefully preserved as part of my late grandmother's lifelong collection of football programmes and sporting memorabilia, this programme has been well looked after over the decades and is now ready to become part of another collection.
A fantastic collectible for Manchester United supporters, Leicester City fans and collectors of vintage football programmes from the 1970s.
Condition:
Good vintage condition for its age with light handling wear and minor age-related marks to the covers. As shown in the photographs, there is a small tear to the edge of one internal page. The remainder of the programme is clean and well presented. Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description and show the exact programme you will receive.
Your programme will be packaged in a protective sleeve between rigid cardboard with Do Not Bend protection to help ensure it arrives safely.

❤️ Own a Little Piece of History ❤️
Thank you for taking a look at this item.
Every piece I sell comes from my late grandmother's remarkable lifetime collection, built over more than 70 years.
She began her career as an air hostess during the 1940s and 1950s, travelling the world and bringing home unusual treasures from every destination. Along the way she fell in love with my grandfather, a Swissair pilot, and together they shared a lifelong passion for collecting history, art, antiques and memorabilia.
In the 1960s she opened her own antiques business, a passion she continued until retiring at the incredible age of 92. She believed every object had a story worth preserving, whether it was a theatre programme, football programme, book, magazine or antique collected during her lifetime.
Today, I'm carefully cataloguing and rehoming her collection, ensuring each piece finds someone who will appreciate it for many years to come.
If you enjoy items with genuine history and provenance, please browse my other listings. New treasures are added every day, and every purchase helps keep my grandmother's extraordinary collection alive for future generations.
