This Edwardian sterling silver vesta case is engraved with foliate scroll decoration to both sides and has a vacant shield-shaped cartouche to the front. The original ribbed striker is present to the base, and the interior retains traces of its original gilding.

It is in good antique condition with age-related surface wear, light scratches and minor marks from use. The hinge is secure, and the lid opens and closes properly. The interior gilding shows expected wear.
