The medals remain together as originally awarded and are correctly impressed to Driver E. A. Killingsworth of the Royal Field Artillery. The group consists of the 1914 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal, commonly referred to by collectors as the "Pip, Squeak and Wilfred" trio. The 1914 Star was awarded only to personnel who served in France or Belgium between 5 August and 22 November 1914, making it scarcer than the later 1914–15 Star.

The medals display age-related wear and patina consistent with service and age. The original ribbons are heavily worn, with fading, fraying and period stitched repairs. Please examine all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
