"The Christopher Reeve Scrapbook" by Margery Steinberg - 1st PRINT Paperback - Published in 1981 by Tempo Books - 141 pages (with 16 pages of great black & white photos) - Very good condition. Published 14 years before the horrific accident which left him a quadriplegic, this book is an unauthorized look at the life of Christopher Reeve, the actor best known for his portrayal of Superman.  The book chronicles Reeve’s journey from a modest acting start — beginning on stage and in radio/TV soap operas — to becoming one of the most celebrated and charismatic actors of the decade. The book provides details on how he entered acting, the opportunities that led to his breakthrough role, and the transition from stage and radio to film, insights into Reeve’s routines, professional challenges, and personal habits, how he actively sought to break free from being typecast as Superman, exploring other roles and projects and much more.  There is a light 1" long light brown stain on the bottom of the front cover at the spine (see the scan), and this had been a library book so it has the usual library stamp and sticker on the title page, but, as you can see, this book is still in very nice condition. No collection of Christopher Reeve or Superman items is complete without this great book.
