Her name is Gabriella and she represents the Gibson Girl, out in Society for "A Day At The Races" - a Charity Derby. She was designed by Dana Gibson for the Franklin Mint in 1991. She is a magnificent hand-painted, Franklin Mint, collector's doll, with the most exquisite hand-painted face. She is so feminine and elegant and has a proud stance, posed holding her parasol. She has beautiful hand-painted brown, hazel eyes, and lovely brown hair, set in a Gibson up-do, that fits wonderfully under her matching picture hat. Her makeup is wonderful with light pinkish eye shadow and she has wonderful dark pink lips. She has just the right amount of blush to enhance her beautiful features. She is beautifully dressed in a custom designed ensemble. She wears a taupe-colored day dress with a matching cape and hat that are accented with rose colored bows and pretty pink grosgrain ribbon. Enhanced by delicate ivory lace and dainty sweetheart rosebuds and an ivory lace trimmed parasol. Her beautiful, delicate hands are painted to look like gloves with brown painted seams that match her outfit. Underneath she has on her Victorian pantaloons. She has wonderful porcelain molded-on Victorian two-toned boots. She is simply a statement of elegant femininity and very fashionable.
