Black wood frame appears aftermarket based on the tab mounts.

Note on Packing and Shipping:
If you want it framed, we are pretty meticulous in shipping and don't cut corners on packing properly. This will be properly protected - we will use blue tape strips in an X across the glass to prevent vibration. The blue tape is easily removable and will include pull tabs. We will also add a layer of carboard over the glass and back to prevent damage, then wrap it in bubble before placing it into a quality art box that will allow enough space to protect it with packing peanuts. This is not an easy process, but we do what we can to protect it for safe arrival.
