Vintage handwoven wool blanket executed in the Chimayó / Rio Grande weaving tradition, featuring a rare gray ground with bold geometric motifs in crimson, turquoise, black, and ivory.

Measures approximately 51 x 80 inches including fringe.

Substantial wool construction with striking panel-style patterning reminiscent of mid-century Chimayó jacket textiles and classic Southwestern trade blankets. The uncommon gray field gives the piece an especially strong display presence and decorator appeal.

Vintage condition with age and use evident throughout. One side presents cleaner than the other. Shows scattered surface wear, light pulls, fringe wear, areas of minor soiling/discoloration, and small spots of weave loss consistent with age and use.
