Unique Khuya Stone Ñawi -Eye, Carved in Caliza Stone

Hand-Carved Andean Ñawi Stone – Caliza Stone Healing Tool | Handmade in Cusco, Peru
This beautiful Andean Ñawi Stone is hand-carved from natural Caliza stone by a skilled artisan in Cusco, Peru, the historic heart of the Inca civilization. Rich in traditional symbolism, this unique piece reflects the artistry and cultural heritage of the Andes.
In the Andean tradition, the Ñawi Stone is a ceremonial tool used by Andean paqos (spiritual practitioners) during traditional healing ceremonies. According to these practices, the stone is first placed as the central rumi (altar stone), where it is ceremonially blessed before being used in gentle ceremonial massage and energy work.
The carvings on this piece represent some of the most sacred symbols in Andean cosmology:

The Andean Condor represents Hanan Pacha, the Upper World. It symbolizes spiritual vision, wisdom, and the connection between humanity and the divine.
The Andean Puma (Otorongo) represents Kay Pacha, the Middle World—the realm of human life. It is a symbol of strength, courage, leadership, and presence.
The Amaru (Serpent) represents Uqu Pacha, the Inner or Lower World. It symbolizes transformation, fertility, renewal, and the life-giving forces of Pachamama (Mother Earth).
The reverse side features:
Siwar Q'enti (the Hummingbird), a revered figure in Andean tradition. It is associated with shamanic journeys and is believed to travel freely between the three realms, serving as a spiritual messenger.
The Kantu Flower, one of the Andes' most treasured native flowers, traditionally associated with ceremonial offerings and herbal practices.
Each Ñawi stone is individually hand-carved, making every piece unique. The natural characteristics of the stone, combined with the artisan's craftsmanship, ensure that no two pieces are exactly alike.
Whether displayed as the centerpiece of an altar, incorporated into a meditation space, or added to a collection of authentic Andean art, this handcrafted Ñawi Stone is a meaningful expression of Peru's rich cultural traditions.
