Michael Alden Hadreas, performing as Perfume Genius, released Put Your Back N 2 It in 2012 — a raw, introspective indie rock album that tackles personal identity, resilience, and emotional survival with hauntingly delicate vocals and evocative songwriting. This digipak CD is a complete, well-preserved copy of one of his defining works, beloved by collectors of emotionally resonant alternative and queer-pop music.
The album is known for its minimalistic yet powerful production, blending vulnerability with sonic sophistication. Standout tracks such as "Hood" and "Dark Parts" showcase Hadreas's capacity for unflinching emotional expression, whilst the title track distils the album's core message of intimate strength. This is essential listening for fans of introspective indie rock and deeply personal songwriting.
Whether you're a dedicated Perfume Genius collector, an indie rock enthusiast, or someone seeking music with emotional weight and reflective storytelling, this digipak edition preserves both the artwork and the sonic impact of a critically acclaimed work.
