Original 2007 theatre programme for Hobson's Choice by Harold Brighouse, performed at the Sheffield Lyceum Theatre.
This programme comes from my late grandmother's treasured theatre collection. She had a lifelong love of the theatre and carefully kept the programmes from productions she attended over many decades. Each one is a genuine keepsake from a performance she experienced, preserving a small piece of British theatrical history that I am now delighted to share with fellow collectors.
This programme is from the Sheffield Lyceum Theatre production which ran from 26 November to 1 December 2007 and features a wonderful cast led by John Savident, best known to many as Fred Elliott from Coronation Street.
Cast includes:
John Savident
Katherine Kingsley
Carolyn Backhouse
Annabel Scholey
Alex Waldmann
Judith Paris
Richard Kane
Dylan Charles
John Branwell
Lizzie Winkler
Philip Correia
Alistair Findlay
Directed by Jonathan Church, this production of Harold Brighouse's much-loved Lancashire comedy is a wonderful piece of modern British theatre history and an excellent addition to any collection of theatre memorabilia or programmes connected with John Savident and the Sheffield Lyceum.

Thank you for taking a look at this item.
Every piece I sell comes from my late grandmother's remarkable lifetime collection, built over more than 70 years.
She began her career as an air hostess during the 1940s and 1950s, travelling the world and bringing home unusual treasures from every destination. Along the way she fell in love with my grandfather, a Swissair pilot, and together they shared a lifelong passion for collecting history, art, antiques and memorabilia.
In the 1960s she opened her own antiques business, a passion she continued until retiring at the incredible age of 92. She believed every object had a story worth preserving, whether it was a theatre programme, football programme, book, magazine or antique collected during her lifetime.
Today, I'm carefully cataloguing and rehoming her collection, ensuring each piece finds someone who will appreciate it for many years to come.
