early-1980s Japanese electronic gaming history.

━━━ POWER / IMPORTANT NOTE ━━━

- The unit does NOT operate on batteries — the internal

  battery terminals show age-related corrosion and the unit

  did not power on via batteries during testing.

- The unit IS confirmed working when powered via the

  included AC adapter (see photos of the VFD screen

  displaying gameplay).

- The included AC adapter is a third-party EPOCH-brand

  adapter (model 91-6080, AC 100V input / DC 6V 200mA

  output, Made in Japan), NOT an original TOMY-branded

  adapter. The plug size and polarity happen to be

  compatible with this unit and it powers the game

  correctly.

- The AC adapter is designed for Japanese 100V mains. For

  use outside Japan, a step-down voltage converter may be

  required depending on your country's electrical system.

- If you wish to use batteries, the battery contacts will

  likely need to be cleaned/restored first. We make no

  guarantee of battery operation.

PUCK MAN is the original Japanese title of Pac-Man, named

after the Japanese onomatopoeia "paku-paku" (chomping

sound). TOMY's tabletop LSI version, with its bold yellow
