## Short Description
Elegant mid-20th-century Chinese porcelain vase with a rich oxblood-red monochrome glaze, white-glazed interior, flared rim, and balanced baluster form.
## Full Description
A handsome vintage Chinese porcelain vase dating approximately to the mid-20th century. The vase features a classic baluster-shaped body with a full rounded shoulder, gently tapered lower section, narrow neck, and outward-flaring mouth.
The exterior is covered in a deep burgundy-red monochrome glaze resembling traditional **sang-de-boeuf or oxblood-inspired wares**. The color varies subtly from dark wine red to softer crimson and mauve tones depending on the lighting, with fine mottling and tonal movement visible beneath the glossy surface. The interior is finished in a contrasting pale white glaze.
The underside has a recessed glazed base surrounded by an unglazed foot rim. A handwritten inventory or collection number appears beneath the base; this is not presented as a factory or reign mark.
A visually striking decorative piece that displays well in Chinese, Asian-inspired, Hollywood Regency, or traditional interiors.
## Condition Report
Good vintage condition overall. No visible cracks, major chips, or repairs observed. There is light surface wear, minor glaze irregularity, and expected age-related residue or discoloration around the unglazed foot rim. Fine glaze texture and scattered firing characteristics are present. Please review all photographs closely, as they form an important part of the condition description.
