Group of four Soviet Union commemorative stamps issued in 1983 featuring space exploration and international themes. Included are the 20th anniversary of Valentina Tereshkova's historic spaceflight, the 50th anniversary of the USSR-1 stratospheric balloon flight, Namibia Day (SWAPO), and a Palestinian solidarity issue. Three stamps retain sheet margins/selvage, adding display and collecting appeal.
