Label is for the Barbour Beacon works, famous for quality all weather motorcycle and military clothing including the first submarine crew uniforms. HMS Ursula. These suits were a staple of the Barbour catalogue from 1937 until the mid 1960s. Unlined suit with elasticated cuffs for better weatherproofing and to stop water ingress.
