Description - An antique Chinese Qing period embroidered silk panel . The panel features a mirror image of vibrant hand stitched elements on a cream /beige backing . It depicts stylized birds resembing exotic phesants or birds of paradise , various flora such as peonies & lotus . The elements traditionally representing marital harmony , beauty and good fortune . The inner embroidery framed by multi layered goemetric borders and a wide contrasting beep purple outer silk border stitched with white blossoms .
