This is an authentic, original Meiji-era Japanese woodblock print triptych by the well-known artist Migita Toshihide (右田年英), dated to 1904 (Meiji 37). The action-packed composition depicts a fierce land battle during the Russo-Japanese War, featuring Japanese cavalry and infantry forces charging a Russian military encampment. It portrays a dramatic central cavalry officer on a rearing horse, exploding artillery shells in the sky, fleeing enemy troops, and a traditional building in the background. The triptych is in very good, clean antique condition with fine line work, strong coloration, crisp margins, no backing paper, and only minor age-toning along the edges. Size: 73 x 38cm. The item is used and has age-related signs of wear. Please assess the condition based on the photos. Please note: All measurements are displayed in centimeters/millimeters.
