Vintage Sargent Mfg. Nickel plated Brass Cabinet Passage Rim Latch W/ Thumb turn. The metal housing has a latch and skeleton keyhole but no key.  The nickel-plated latch measures approximately 31/2" by 1 1/2" inches by 1/2". Measurement from the latch edge to thumb turn hole is 7/8". the thumb turn measures approximately 1 1/8" by 3/4" and its face plate measures 2 1/8" by 1 '. The latch was made by the Sargent Manufacturing Company, of New Britain, Connecticut.

The mortise latch and thumb turn are in good vintage condition, with wear from use. The internal mechanism has been tested and works as intended,
