Rare Yuri Gagarin Hand-Signed Vintage Soviet Postcard – First Man in Space

Up for sale is Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin signed colour postcard size 4" x 6".  Yuri Gagarin is  the legendary Soviet cosmonaut who made history on April 12, 1961, as the first human to journey into outer space aboard Vostok 1.

This iconic color portrait showcases Gagarin in his military uniform adorned with his Hero of the Soviet Union medal and pilot-cosmonaut insignia. He has beautifully signed the front of the postcard in blue ink.

Publisher: Officially issued in the USSR by the prestigious Goznak publishing house (Издание Главного управления "Гознак" МФ СССР).

Photography Credits: Celebrated Soviet photographers A. Mokletsov and V. Malyshev (APN agency).

Dimensions: Standard postcard size, approximately 4" x 6".

Authenticity: A Letter of Authenticity (LOA) is included with this purchase to guarantee the autograph's absolute authenticity.

Condition Report:

The postcard is in Good/Very Good vintage condition with excellent colour retention.

It features a clean, unposted back with no writing or postal stamps.

As is common with this specific historical series, the card was neatly removed from an official commemorative booklet, leaving a clean perforated edge along one side (clearly visible in the scans).
