A sterling silver slab-form vesta case by George Stockwell & Co, bearing imported London hallmarks for 1925. The case has a plain polished body with rounded corners and an engraved "C.R." monogram to one side. It features a slide-action opening and is a practical as well as collectible example of early 20th-century silverware.
Good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with use. There are surface scratches, light wear and areas of tarnish and patina throughout. The interior also shows signs of age and use.
