Antique German porcelain demitasse cup and saucer. The cup is decorated with a purple transfer courting couple scene with purple flowers. The saucer is decorated with purple flowers. Clouded / sponged gilding to the handle and gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom with a green crown above R&C. This mark was used by Rosenthal between 1891 and 1906.
Has some wear to the gilding and the cup has a tight crack extending off the lip. Otherwise good condition.
The cup measures approximately 2 3/4 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
