Limited edition still life photograph of an artichoke by Elizabeth Zeschin. No. 3 of 25. Signed by the artist in pencil, numbered 3/25 and dated 2007 and dedicated For Alexandra.

Born in Los Angeles, Elizabeth Zeschin was raised in the wilds of Northern Oregon. Educated in Boston and Chicago, she studied theatre before embarking upon her photographic career in New York City. She has made her home in the United Kingdom for over twenty five years.

Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in New York and the United Kingdom. Her portraits have been included in The 2003 and 2005 Schweppe’s and the 2008 Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize Shows at The National Portrait Gallery in London. She has exhibited several times at The Royal Academy Summer Show. Her joint exhibition “Flora and Porna” was at The Arden and Anstruther Gallery in 2007. ” From My Garden ” was also shown at Arden and Anstruther in 2009. She has received Merit Awards in The Association of Photographers Awards Show (London), and has had work exhibited at The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. She exhibited work in the 2018 AOP50 exhibition, “Images that Defined the Age” at Canary Wharf in London. Her Salt and Cyanotype prints were exhibited in 2019 at Parham House in West Sussex. She has been in numerous group shows at The Chelsea Arts Club in London. Her solo show there, “Endangered Species” was in 2022. Her work was selected for exhibition in the Royal Photographic Society IPE164 in 2023 in Bristol and then touring throughout the UK. She also was chosen to exhibit work at The Fox Talbot photographic museum at Lacock Abbey in 2024-2025.

Her work is included in many published photographic collections including American Photography, Graphis Annual, Eros and The Association Awards books.

Elizabeth’s commercial clients have included American Express, NPower, Smirnoff Vodka, Perrier Jouet Champagne, Waterford Crystal, Laura Ashley, Harrods, The Conran Shop, Marks and Spencer, Boots and Johnson and Johnson.

She has worked for a wide range of editorial clients both in The United States and Europe including The New York Times Sophisticated Traveler, Conde Nast Traveler, Town and Country, Marie-Claire, Good Housekeeping, Elle Decor, Elle, Grand Designs, House and Garden, The World of Interiors, The Sunday Times Magazine, The Telegraph Sunday Magazine, Gourmet, Bon Appetit, Domino, Vogue, Vanity Fair and Martha Stewart Living.

Elizabeth was Artist in Residence at Parham House in West Sussex during 2018-2019.


Condition


Very condition preserved in its frame. The frame is also in very good condition. Ready to hang. See photos.
