The Philodendron variegated 'Black Cardinal' is a very rare striking, low-maintenance, "self-heading" (non-vining) houseplant, prized for its dramatic foliage that changes color from burgundy-red to a deep, dark purple-brown that appears almost black as it matures with random variegations that varies in color.

he is a very well established one that had just unfurled a new rich deep green leaf with unique variegation .  Standing at 18"  tall  by 14"   wide with multiple  nodes,  aerial roots and a few pups. New emergent leaves are larger than the older ones. Leaves measure 7" long ( not including  the petioles).  Place in  medium to bright indirect light area and water when the soil is dry. Be one of the few who owns such a one of a kind specimen. Please take a look at the images as it is the exact plant you will receive. Will ship in its pot with soil.
