Very unusual vintage industrial engineering souvenir or technical display model. The piece appears to represent a precision metal shaft, rotor, spindle or mechanical assembly, mounted on wooden supports and stored in its original long wooden presentation case.
The model is beautifully made with turned metal parts, polished and brushed surfaces, brass-colored metal sections, flange-like details and small pin/bolt elements. The object has a strong industrial, technical and engineering aesthetic.
Most likely this was produced as a factory souvenir, engineering presentation piece, technical award, office display or commemorative model connected with machinery, aviation, turbine, compressor, pump, factory or industrial production.
A very interesting collectible for fans of industrial design, Soviet-era engineering, mechanical objects, steampunk decor, loft interiors or technical history.
